The existing dashboard had a 72% drop-off rate in the first session. Users were overwhelmed by the density of information and could not find the actions they needed.
I restructured the information architecture, introduced progressive disclosure, and redesigned the core user flows around the three most common jobs-to-be-done.
First-session drop-off reduced from 72% to 28%. Time-to-first-value dropped from 8 minutes to 90 seconds. User satisfaction scores increased by 34%.
